... The second is sex education in our schools (though not like this),

Since last year, the Quebec government has been running a pilot project for mandatory sex ed with a view to standardize it by 2017.

Sex ed has been shown to reduce the transmission of STD's and unwanted pregnancies, among other things. In spite of this the Quebec government bowed to pressure from small but vocal groups and had abolished the prior curriculum in 2005.

I'm glad they're finally working on bringing it back.
