This is the base image for tonight's Candyass Club Cabaret's promo poster.
The show's producer, Velma Candyass, wanted something 'film-noir'-ish evoking Montreal's red-light district. I immediately thought of this
photo shoot and thought the same 'in camera colour separation' technique would be appropriate.
At first I was I was going to do a simple poster with just the model. Then it occurred to me that I needed to be downtown a couple of days later so may as well snap a couple of cityscapes. This one was done with selective desaturation.
