It doesn't show on the photos but that part of the tree was eight feet or so from the ground; to get this pic I held my camera at arms' length above my head. In spite of this Vixen B. was totally game.

By the way, for the first pic I used a medium focal length - 180mm, for the second I used 90mm, and for this one I used a 24mm wide angle lens. In all cases I used a polarizing filter to enhance the colour of the sky. This just goes to show you how focal length can affect how the sky looks on a photo.
